Redwood City, Calif. – March 22, 2007- Tectura, a leading global provider of Microsoft integrated business solutions to mid-market companies, larger enterprises and their divisions, is pleased to announce that their customer, Wakefield Canada Inc., was recently honored by Microsoft® with a 2007 Pinnacle Award for outstanding business achievements. Wakefield received the Role Based CEO Award at Convergence 2007, an annual Microsoft customer conference that recently took place in San Diego.

The Pinnacle Awards, established in 1997, are presented yearly and recognize Microsoft Dynamics customers who have achieved notable accomplishments with their Microsoft Dynamics applications. Microsoft Dynamics is a line of financial, customer relationship and supply chain management solutions that helps businesses work more effectively. Customers, partners, and team members contributed Pinnacle Award nominations. The 2007 Pinnacle Awards were presented in 17 categories. Wakefield Canada Inc. was selected for the Role Based CEO Award because of its use of multiple Microsoft solutions to drive overall business performance across its organization.
Wakefield Canada Inc., a strategic business partner for British Petroleum in Canada, was founded in July 2005 and distributes the Castrol brand of premium lubricants. It is an innovative new corporation with a vision for growth which includes integrated Microsoft technology. In order to realize their integrated technology vision, Wakefield works with Microsoft Certified reselling partner Tectura. In the initial project phase, Tectura collaborated with Wakefield to establish their technology platform, including servers, database, productivity tools, Enterprise Resource Planning (Microsoft Dynamics™ AX), Customer Relationship Management (Microsoft Dynamics™ CRM), and Business Intelligence solutions. Overall, this first phase has provided Wakefield a scalable, long-term foundation that can be leveraged as a creative platform for the future.
